The Mechanic must always read the instructions in the Service Manual’s booklet “Safety and Environment” booklet before proceeding.
The Installation Instruction sometimes refers to information in the Operator´s and Service Manual.
The equipment must be assembled by an authorized person at an authorized workshop.
The Installation Instruction is based on the use of special tools, E-tools and standard tools generally available. Regarding bolted joints which are not listed here, see “Volvo standard tightening torques”.
